An Economic Study of Agricultural Labour in Egypt

The agricultural sector is one of the most sectors in Egypt, where it plays especial role in economic developing, As well as accommodate the agricultural about 6.7 million labor in the year 2013.
The study targeted mainly study the current status of the contribution mainly crops in the operation of agricultural labor, through the achievement of some sub-aims, which were as follows: Identify the total human resources and of the labor force during the period (1998- 2013), estimate the total demand for Agricultural labor in Egypt. Study the economic relationship between the number of workers and the factors determining the demand, the and study of the evolution of the relative importance of wages per feddan employment of the most important strategic crops. The development of return pound spent on per feddan employment and wages on per feddan to crops in the study, and finally examine the impact of a difference provinces on wages on per feddan to crops study.
The study included the introduction, Arabic and English in summary , in addition to four chapters. The first chapter includes to the theoretical and reference frame work to the most studies and research of employment. while the second chapter evolution of trend of total human resources, and the force of the workers, in addition to the most economic indicators that affect them, that is in two sections. firstly respect the current of population in the Egypt. But secondly dealt the current situation of employment and unemployment in Egypt, while the third chapter implied on the determinants of the demand for agricultural labor, the fourth chapter dealt feddan labor of the most Egyptian strategic crops, that in three parts, firstly deal the relative importance of the wage labor, while secondly dealt analysis of variance for the wage feddan labor, thirdly involved analysis of variance of return pound spent of the feddan employment for the most crops.
