Role of some decntaminators in reducing the bacterial contamination on slaughtered sheep carcasses

Ebrahim esmaiel, 2007

Download

Tw hunderd and fifty random samples were collected from 125 sheep carcasses from both surfaces of shoulder regin at sharkia traditinal abattoir cover the whole day of work . the recorded counts of microrganisms were attributed to existence of prteolytic and lipolyic acetic acid were shown to be consistently effective methods for reducing total aerobic counts , total proteolytic conts , total lipolytic counts and staph aureus counts . the mean count of these
while using saponine 15 show reduction in total bacterial count equal to that occur by water wash

Microbiologial evaluation and improving the sanitary measure of frozen chicken

Khaled Aziz El-Din, 2007

Download

One hunderd f random frozen chicken carcasses were purchased frm supermarkets in cair governrate fr bacteriolgical examination standard methds were used t determine anaerobic and aerobic micrrganisms. Samples were classified into two group (50 f each then examined for aerobic bacteria Isolates from group I were C. sporogenes after three months of freezing with a reduction 985 while the mean value of enterobacteriaceae.

Ninety random samples of dairy products , 15 each of raw milk , butter , cream , as well as processed cheddar and Egyptian Romano ( ER ) cheese from different retail outlets for detection and determination of Aflatoxins ( B1 ,B2, G1, G2 , M1 and M2 ) the obtained data cleared that the lowest percentages of Afs contamination were observed in cream 3 ( 20 %) AFB1 . processed and Egyptian Romano cheese , 2 ( 13.33%) AFB2 . ER cheese 1 ( 6.67%) AFG1 cheddar and ER cheese 1 ( 6.67% ) AFG 2 , butter and cream 3 ( 20%) AFM1 and processed and cheddar cheese 1 ( 6.67%) AFM2 while the highest percentages were detected in cheddar cheese 9 ( 60%) . 3 (20% ) ,2 ( 13.33%) for AFB1 B2 . G1 respectively , but AFM 1 in 7 ( 46.67%) ER cheese , with different estimated levels .
The public health important and suggestive measures to prevent contamination of dairy products were discussed

Thermstability of atrazine residues in rabbit meat

Ibrahim El -shorbagy, 2006

Download

3 this study was dne n a totalof 30 rabbits they were dived int 3 groups , 10 of each , the first and second group were fed a ratin containing herbicidal atrazine (400 ppm.) whil these of the third group were fed a clean ration for 2 weeks and all were slaughtered the muscles of each group were processed together and the residual level of atrazine was analyzed by HPLC . Levels was nt significantly reduced by the freeze treatment of samples . Hygienic measures as well as public health importance were discussed

Microbiological and chemical evaluation of chicken stock with special reference to the monosodium glutamate

Takwa Ismail, 2006

Download

Chicken stock cube samples were randomly collected from supermarkets for evaluation their microbial and chemical quality . Samples represent two different commercial for trade brand (A,B) The mean values of APC, B. cereus, coliforms and Staph. aureus for stock samples brand (A) and brand (B) were 2x10 . The results were discussed and recommendations to improving the quality of the chicken stock were given .

Diagnostic and biochemicl studies on sheep brucellosis and Human contacts in Sharkia governorate

Foad mohamed, 2006

Download

This study was carried out on one hundred and fifty men high risk in direct contact with these sheep from different localties in Sharkia Governorate These cases were subjected to serological tests for diagnosis of the disease . These screening test were Rose Bengal test (RBT) and Buffered plate aggluination (BPAT) seropositive samples were confirmed by Rivanol test (Ri-T) and tube agglutination test . The results of examined revealed cases that thirty sheep (30%) and seven persons (14%) were seropositive . Five serum samples were obtained from seropositive and another five serum samples of seronegative animals . The procedures were repeated in seropositive and seronegative human They were subjected to biochemical examination Biochemical studies revealed a signifcant ivcrease in sAST sALT , sAP and serum globulin meanwhile a significant decreasein total protein , albumin , calcium and inorganic phosphorous of affected sheep &men compared with the healthy ones One blood sample was taken on sodium salt of EDTA from each case of the above examined cases They were subjected to hematological study The affected cases both animals and human revealed normocytic normochromic anemia associated with higher ESR, leukocytosis neutrophilia and lymphopenia It could be concluded that brucellosis led to disturbance of general health condition of the host , so careful attention must be paid for early diagnosis of this zoontic disease followed by eradication of seroreactor sheep ;vaccination of non reactors and a therapeuticplan for the disease from workers.
