Effects of sooty mold disease caused by cladosporium herbarum on quality of cotton fibers and seeds

Abstract: Deterioration in quality of fibers of the cotton cultivar Giza 86 caused by the sooty mold (Sm) fungus Cladosporium herbarum (CH) under field conditions was evaluated in fourteen samples, obtained from seven different locations in four Governorates.
