An Analytical Economic Study of Nonagricultural Labour and its Influence on The Farm Income in EL-Behira Governorate

The study aimed in general to study the agricultural economic characteristics of El-Beheira governorate in terms of size and characteristics of the population and the workforce in the governorate, and to study the economic and social factors that affect the agricultural work of the farm family in the governorate, and finally to verify the effect of agricultural work on farm income in Beheira governorate.
In order to achieve the objectives of the study, the study followed the method or inductive method of historical and statistical facts in economic analysis and in drawing conclusions. on 7 centers in the governorate, the secondary data were obtained from various sources, the most important of which is the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics, and the Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation.
The study came in five chapters. The first dealt with the introduction, previous studies, the research problem, the aim of the study, the research method and data sources, and the theoretical framework, while the second chapter dealt with the study of the agricultural economic characteristics of El-Beheira governorate, where it dealt with the economic importance of the land resource, and dealt with a pattern tenure and its classification according to the type of tenure, its capacity, and the problems of tenure in the governorate. It also dealt with the productive mode followed in the governorate.
The third chapter dealt with the characteristics, population size and workforce in the governorate and included population development and its geographical distribution in the governorate, the size and characteristics of the manpower and workforce and their geographical distribution in El-Beheira governorate, and it dealt with the development of the workforce according to the type of activity, as well as the extent of stability in work among members of the workforce in the governorate.
The fourth chapter focused on studying the economic analysis of agricultural work in the study sample in the governorate and dealt with the economic and social factors affecting the non-agricultural work. It also included the components of household income in the governorate and studying the interrelationships between agricultural work and family income in the governorate.
Where it was found that agricultural work is an important source of work in the El-Beheira governorate, as it constitutes about 72.5% of the total number of workers outside the farm for the various holding groups and the importance of the incomes obtained from practicing agricultural work, as it contributes about 66.5% of the total non-farm income of the family and is considered one It is one of the sources of financing for agriculture and one of the main sources of total income for the family because of its importance in strengthening the ability of farmers to complete agricultural operations, which has a positive impact on the productive process and increasing farm income in El-Beheira governorate. Chapter five included a summary and a conclusion.
