Wheat farmer's implementation level of integrated control technique for wild oat in some villages in El-behera governorate.

Abstract: The central objective of the study was three fold : (1) to identify the wheat farmer's implementation level of technical recommendations of integrated control technique for Wild Oat , and (2) to determine the relationship between a number of independent variables and the estimated degree of wheat farmer's implementation level of technical recommendations of integrated control technique for Wild Oat as a dependent variable. (3) to Identify the main reasons un implementation the wheat farmers of technical recommendations of integrated control technique for Wild Oat. The data were collected from (136) farmers in the selected three villages. Statistical methods for data analysis were: frequencies, percentages, means, standard deviation, simple correlation coefficient, and multiple regression analysis.
The findings indicated that (83.1 %) of the interviewed farmers had tow and moderate scores regarding their implementation level of technical recommendations of integrated control technique for Wild Oat. The statistical analysis pointed out that seven independent variable namely: educational level, land holding size, mass media exposure, agricultural extension services activities exposure, knowledge about Wild Oat control recommendations, Wheat cultivated land tenure, and form innovativeness were significantly correlated to the dependent variable there seven variables explain (35.2%) of the total variance of the dependent variable Wheat farmer's implementation level technical recommendations of integrated control technique for Wild Oat.
