The station is the only research units specialists on the studies of genetical and physiological studies on salt tolerance of the most of filed crops,for this reasonthere are plans to establish salinitylab, green house,Lisometer unit, tissueculture lab and aquatic culture unit The EARS is also devloping a nurery for wooden trees and some fruits.
