1- develop wheat cultivars adapted to rainfed and stress areas and newly ,relcained lands in particular sueh as sahel 1, sakha 93, and Giza 168.
2- Develop barley cultivars adapted to rainfed and stress such as giza 125,Giza 126,giza 127 and barley cultivars naked.
3- Alot trees seedings and grazing shrubs were produced to suitable this area and were produced to suitable this area and released to the farmers.
4- some of lentil cultivors were evaluated under rainfed to know the best of these cultivars.
5- Camel research dept. was established and preparate camel station in that area; animal production farm at mattrouh and now program for develop camel lines is carry out.
