Historical view about Mattrouh Research station:
- Mattrouh Research station was established in 1987 year by the Decision no.1151. The work was started through seasons of 1988/1989. The station is specialized for Agriculturel fields(Crops-Orchards-Animal production)in dry land which depend on rain
in porticular,like (wheat - barley - forage and grazing-legumes-figs- olives-woody trees- sheeps and Goats-kamels).
-mattrouh research station is considered one of the objectives of dry land project which was found in that area.this station was established to help farmers of north west coast at mattrouh governorate.
-Two locations follow the station,first is called El-kasr farm,its area 25 feddan and second is called orchard farm,its about 5 feddan.
-administration building is found at El-kasr farm at mattrouh governorate.
