1- The following varieties and hybrids were produced at Shandaweel Agric. Res. Station:
- Giza 113 sorghum variety and hybrid from 1 to 6.
- Shandaweel 3 and Toshky 1 in seasame.
- Shandaweel 1 and 2 for milt.
- Sohag 1 and 2 varieties in wheat.
2- Two biological control labs were established at Shandaweel Aggric.Res.Station:
1 st USing Trichoderma fungi for controlling white root rot in onion.
2 nd Using biological control by Trichograma parasite to control borer in sugarcane.
