حاتم فؤاد، استاذ مساعد (باحث أول) بقسم بحوث آفات محاصيل الحقل - معهد بحوث وقاية النباتات - مركز البحوث الزراعية. منذ الانضمام الى معهد وقاية النباتات 2007 تم العمل فى مشاريع تقييم المبيدات والحصول على الماجستير من قسم المبيدات - كلية الزراعة - جامعة المنصورة فى عام 2011، ثم الحصول على منحة من جمهورية الصين 2013 للحصول على درجة الدكتوراه، والتى تم الانتهاء منها والحصول على درجة الدكتوراه عام 2017، كذلك الحصول على مهمة علمية لما بعد الدكتوراه لمدة عامين من معهد علوم الحشرات - جامعة جيجيانغ - الصين. خلال مدة عملى فى الدكتوراه وما بعد الدكتوراه تم العمل على تؤليف وتصنيع مركبات نانوية صديقة للبيئة من المستخلصات والزيوت النباتية وايضا من البكتيريا والفطريات كعوامل مساعدة فى التؤليف والتصنيع. خلال الفترة من 2017 وحتى الان تم نشر ما يزيد عن 20 ورقة بحثية عن مركبات النانو فى مجلات علمية محكمة دولية وذات معامل تأثير قوى مثل Industrial Crops and Products، Frontiers in Plant Science، Nanomaterials، Journal of Nanobiotechnology، Artificial Cells, Nanomedicine, and Biotechnology، Journal of Cluster Science، Molecules، Processes، Applied Biochemistry and Biotechnology، Insect Science، BioMed Research International، Florida Entomologist, Pesticide Biochemistry and Physiology. العمل على انتاج مركبات قد يكون لها تأثير كبير و قوى على الآفات سواء كانت حشرية او ممرضة للنبات وفى نفس الوقت لا يكون لها تاثير كبير على البيئة.
